Yes, we offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions for clients who prefer or require remote therapy.
The first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist, discuss your history and reasons for seeking counseling, and collaboratively set goals for treatment. You will have the opportunity to see how therapy works, review office policies, privacy, and confidentiality, as well as determine whether or not you are comfortable with the therapist.
Side note: It’s vital to have a positive working relationship with your therapist, so it’s recommended that you and therapist meet 2-3 times before deciding whether or not the relationship will continue. The therapist will provide the client with referrals of specialists or trusted colleagues if they feel someone else might better be able to work with you.
We are in-network with most major networks, and we also offer superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact us to verify your benefits. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage of benefits.
Our initial assessment session is $150 and additional sessions are $125 per session. Sliding scale options may be available based on financial need. We have student interns who charge a lower rate. Please inquire for more details.
We kindly require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Late cancellations or missed appointments will incur a $125 fee. Our clinicians dedicate time and care to every session, and we want to ensure that availability is offered to those who are ready and able to attend.
We do understand that emergencies happen, and we’re committed to handling those situations with understanding and flexibility.
Monday appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled by Friday at 5 p.m. to avoid the late cancellation fee.
Yes, your privacy is very important to us. All sessions are confidential with a few legal exceptions as required by the State of Utah, such as safety concerns involving harm to self or others. This will be reviewed in your first session.
Sessions typically last 53 minutes. Clients typically meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on the client’s needs. The length of time while in therapy will depend on the individual client’s circumstances. The therapist and client will work in a collaborative effort to determine the time frame.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply want to better understand yourself, therapy can help. Oftentimes people come to therapy because they don’t feel well, and they want things to change and improve in their lives. It is our mission to provide a safe place and provide support in a non-judgmental environment.
