“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”

Neil Gaiman

Lizzy believes that therapy should be a personalized and empowering experience that teaches individuals to become masters of their own fates. Her counseling identity prioritizes having unconditional positive regard for the client while encouraging the client to mold a happier and healthier life for themselves.

Prior to working in the counseling field; Lizzy has worked as a music teacher – specializing in children and adolescents with behavioral challenges and physical disabilities, as a foster care recruitment specialist, specializing in the training and certification of foster parents, and as an academic coach for at risk teens and adults who had dropped out of high school.
